Built on 20 years of plumbing experience.
CoastPlumber started because we kept hearing the same story from expats on the Costa del Sol — something goes wrong at home, and suddenly you're trying to explain a burst pipe in Spanish to someone who doesn't call back.
We built a better way. Simple request form, real photos, English response, vetted professional. That's it.
The story behind this
Before CoastPlumber, I ran a plumbing and maintenance business in the UK with 28 employees, covering jobs from Manchester down to Brighton. We worked with some big names — AXA, Aviva, Mitie Property Solutions. Not small jobs. Real contracts, real accountability, real standards.
Then Brexit happened. One by one, our engineers and plumbers — many of them from mainland Europe — went home. In the space of a couple of years, we went from a full team to a skeleton crew. The business couldn't survive it.
I moved to the Costa del Sol. And I quickly noticed something that felt very familiar: people couldn't get reliable tradespeople. English-speaking homeowners especially. The same problem I'd spent 20 years solving in the UK was sitting right here, unsolved.
So I built CoastPlumber. Not as a quick website, but as a proper platform — with the same standards I held in the UK. Vetted professionals only. Clear pricing before work starts. English, start to finish. Every request read by a real person.
This isn't a directory. It's not a Yellow Pages for plumbers. It's a platform built on the belief that good service and clear communication shouldn't be hard to find — wherever you live.
How it works
Four steps. No phone calls in Spanish. No guessing.
Fill in the short form — takes under 60 seconds. Add 1–2 photos if you can. Photos help a lot with quoting.
Every request is read by a real person. We check the details, look at your photos, and match your job to the right professional.
We connect you with a professional who can actually help. English-speaking, reliable, and familiar with the Costa del Sol.
No surprises. The plumber confirms the cost before any work starts. You decide whether to go ahead — no pressure.
Being honest about how this works
CoastPlumber is a platform. When you send a request, we connect you with an independent, self-employed plumber or a small plumbing company — someone we have vetted and trust.
We don't hide that. We think you should know exactly what you're getting into. The plumber who shows up is not our employee — but they are our responsibility. If they let you down, we want to know about it.
Right now, leads are free for the plumbers in our network. We're building reputation before we build revenue. That's the right order to do things.
If you're a reputable, English-speaking plumber working on the Costa del Sol and you'd like to be part of this — get in touch.
What we stand for
We tell you exactly how this works. We connect you with independent plumbing professionals. We don't hide that. What you see is what you get.
Every part of this — the form, the response, the visit — happens in English. No awkward phone calls. No translation needed.
We don't work with just anyone. Every plumber in our network is checked before we send them a single job. Reputation matters to us.
Sending a request is free. There's no subscription, no membership, no catch. We're building a reputation here, not a quick buck.
Where we operate
We currently cover the stretch of coastline from Mijas Costa in the east through to San Pedro de Alcántara in the west — including Calahonda, Riviera del Sol, Elviria, Marbella, and Puerto Banús. We're growing carefully, not quickly. Every area we add, we make sure we have the right professionals in place first.
Got a plumbing problem?
Send us the details and a photo or two. We'll take it from there. No Spanish needed. No waiting on hold. Just a clear, fast response.
